You will get from asus.com and the other thing till you wont mention the model no. Or device config. Like its mobo, graphics card, notebook etc.
I ran 'Decrap My PC' on a new laptop. After restarting, I got the warning 4PG This program can only be executed on the Asus computer. I googled this and the only suggestion I found was. So I downloaded it but when I tried to install it, an error came up that it can't be installed because it already has been installed.
So I want to uninstall and reinstall it but I can't find it. After searching my C drive, I did find an ATK folder in C: eSupport eDriver Software ASUS so I removed that but this didn't solve the problem.
What could I try next? A better solution: Download the correct ASUS ATK package driver for your notebook and run the installer. If the package exists, it will give you the option to uninstall or repair.
Select Uninstall and it will clean up the older ATK driver prior to upgrading to a newer one or completely uninstalling the package. Note that you cannot install a newer ATK package over an older version.
You MUST uninstall the older version FIRST using the method described here. As of date, ASUS doesn't provide the installation entry in the Add/Remove programs section in the control panel.
Recently upgraded my hdd and wiped all partitions(hate pre-installed crap), after installing windows ive noticed old versions of drivers on support page, so i figured out to find all links with up-to-date versions of everything. Station-drivers website recommended themselfes for last 4 years or even more. Im using their drivers and everything ok. Though ASUS doesnt have latest drivers for Intel RST and MEI, so Station-drivers is our only option. Intel has new enough versions for 8.1, newer than Asus versions, but that isn't necessarily better - as Asus may not have tested the latest versions from Intel - and haven't given Intel feedback with problems/fixes. I have used Station drivers before, and in fact a couple of times it was the only way to get cutting edge stuff to work, but Intel drivers are usually ok to get from Intel.
Thanks for the list olvrick! I found some useful stuff that Asus hasn't had time to filter into the G750 support download areas.
